He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mack Mason and Betty Louise Mason; his brother Roy Wayne Mason; and his son Daniel Harbin. He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Ann Turner and Melissa Dupree; the mother of his children Alice Harbin; his children, Britany Mason, Trisha Baskins, Billy Wayne Mason and Johnny Hastings; the mother of his children Amanda Baskins; his son Richard Atchley; the mother of his child Diane Atchley; and his sisters, Deborah Connally, Robbie Loyd and Daine Mason. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hayden Cemetery Hayden Cemetery.
