He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Henry Powell Williams and Mary Estelle Lingar; his siblings, Lois Vance, Vernice Brooks and Gerald Williams; his siblings-in-law, Buford Brooks, Bill Vance and Ethel Lee Williams; and his nephews, Terry and Dale Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Ann Harwell, James Powell Williams (Debbie) and Elizabeth Kimberly Fugitt (James); his grandchildren, Lana Claire Rowse and Christian Alexander Fugitt; his nephew David Brooks; his nieces, Anita Brooks, Lisa Williams and Angela Spiller; and his sister-in-law Nancy McGetrick Flood.
