He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleadous Mathis (Agnes Dixon Mathis) and Carolyn Tripp of Camargo, Tennessee.. He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Johnson of Ardmore, Sherry Clem of Elkmont and Laura Meier of Harvest, Alabama.; and his nieces and nephews, Joey Marlow, Jeff Marlow, Johnny Marlow, Bert Clem, Travis Johnson, Sharon Ayers, Glinda Hardin, Diane Rogers and Charlotte Owen. He is also survived by many great nephews, great nieces, great great nephews, great great nieces, many cousins, as well as many friends.
