He was predeceased by: his father Billy Gilbert; his brother Bill Gilbert; and his grandparents, Brink, George Gilbert and Dorothy Smart.
He is survived by: his mother Dianne Gilbert; his sisters, Jeanie Thomas (Kevin) and Debbie Drago (David); his sister-in-law Donna Gilbert; and his close friend Sarah.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist Church Cemetery (1127 Charity Ln, Hazel Green, AL 35750).
