He is survived by: his wife Barbara Golden; his daughters, Jan Bentley (Hartwell), Kerry Plunk (David) and Michelle Sargent (Patrick); his siblings, Lana Lackey (Brad) and Bobby Golden; his grandchildren, Nicole (Daniel), Joseph, Olivia (Chase), Kyle, Benjamin (Brittany), David (Brenna), Marissa, Allison (Brady) and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Cameron, Lauren, Emma K., Preston, Jaxson, Paislee, Kali, Harper, Sage, Emma A. and Zayne.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation in support of their inpatient hospice facility, which provided David with exceptional and compassionate care during the final days of his life.
