He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Mercier and Alice Mercier; his wife Patricia Stanley Mercier; and his siblings, Clyde Mercier Jr., Lois Wilson and Susan Amilhat.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Matthew Mercier (JoAnna), Stephen Mercier (Catherine), James Mercier (Candace), David Mercier (Katherine) and Adam Mercier (Julia); and his great grandchild Jacquelyn.
