It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daxton Ross Simmons (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his children, Reese and Ross Simmons; his parents, Brenda (Bill Burdette) and Steve (Beverly Simmons); his brother Landon (Leigh Anne Simmons); his nephews, Jamison and Jaxton Cagle; and his pet Ace. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Childrens Burn Center at UAB Hospital, online at ChildrensAL.org/Donate or by check to Children's of Alabama Foundation, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
