He was predeceased by: his parent Visa Edna Garrett Maxwell; his wife Linda Warthan Maxwell; and his siblings, Curt Maxwell of Miles Maxwell, J. T, Carroll Maxwell, Nona Maxwell Booker, Inez Maxwell Pfuntner and Odell Maxwell Allen.
He is survived by: his daughter Lana; his son-in-law Michael Meskunas of Huntsville, Alabama; his brother Herbert; his sister-in-law Jo Maxwell of Austin, Texas; and his grandchildren, Alexi Whitaker Conner (Raymond "Tray" Conner) of Kyle, Texas and Garrett Whitaker (Lauren Kitchens) of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
