He was predeceased by: his parents, Zephaniah Norris and Alta Hales Norris; and his brother Marcus "Bill" Norris. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cornett Norris; his sons, Donald Jr. (Melissa) and Jonathan (Amy); and his grandchildren, Jon Robert, Abby and Beau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Southeast Nazarene Church.
