She is survived by: her family Doris; her children, Terrie Vandiver (Frank), Karen Manley and Greg Brooks (Kim); her grandchildren, Franklin Vandiver (Elina), Will Vandiver (Maggie), Brooks Blaise (Chad), Dusten O'Reilly (Renee), Foster Brooks (Sarah) and Anna Catherine Crump (Owen); her brother Jerry Bice (Judy); her sisters-in-law, Neida Bice and Sherry Bice; and her friend Michael Honeywell. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and even great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Doris to the Boys and Girls Club of North Alabama or Second Mile Development.
