He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Mitchell Braam; his daughter Amy Elizabeth Locke (Nolen); his niece Erin Braam of Ventura, CA; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Mitchell and Melvin Mitchell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
