He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Obe Stanley and Peggy Lois Hackworth Stanley; his wife Evelyn "Joann" Crews Stanley; his brother Dan Stanley; and his cousin Betty Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Stanley (Aimee), Denise Dorsey (Steven) and Debra Heredia (Brandon); his grandchildren, David Heredia of Leah Heredia, B. J, Penelope Stanley and Delilah Stanley; his brother Larry Stanley; and his cousins, Tamara "Tammy" Leigh Atwood and Rhonda Richards.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made in Greg's honor to either St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) or to PETA (501 Front St. Norfolk, VA 23510).
