With sadness, we share the passing of Harvey B. Wright of Huntsville, Alabama. Harvey, born on August 31, 1934, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Harvey for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Harvey’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Addison Wright and Marie L. Wright (Spillman); his grandfather Chauncey; his great-grandparent Northport; and his wife Marilyn Ann Sterchi.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Ann Wright of Aurora, Colorado; and his niece Cindy Zerkle (Tom, family: Aubrey Zerkle, Austin Zerkle) of Olney. He is also survived by many cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450).
