She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Quekemeyer; her husband Thomas Roy Bowen, Sr.; her father Charles E. Quekemeyer; her brother Charles Quekemeyer, Jr.; her sons, Thomas Roy Bowen, Jr. and Edward Alexander Bowen; and her great grandchild Cecilia Frances Bowen.
She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Mumpower (Barry); her siblings, Gail Kinsinger, Beverly McMillian, John Quekemeyer (Carrliss) and Susan Beith (David); and her grandchildren, Colton Bruton (Amanda), Trey Bowen (Ashlan), Bo Bowen, Amanda Bolton (Corey), Grace Bailey (Charles) and Jennifer Hughes (Nick). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel (2320 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
