He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Robinson; and his wife Kathy Robinson. He is survived by: his father William Robinson; his stepmother Janice Robinson; his brother Joey Robinson; his children, April Carlton, Honey Clardy, Jayna Sauer and Jay Robinson Jr.; and his stepdaughters, April Crabtree and Amy Reed. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
