She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lawson, Sr. and Winifred Lawson; and her sister Gwen Olson. She is survived by: her husband George Hopper; her daughter Melissa Fritz (Eric); her brother Arthur Lawson, Jr.; and her stepgranddaughters, Lilly and Becca.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the TBD Monte Sano State Park at the John Scoble Memorial Pavilion (1 Cabin Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the State Park (5105 SE Nolen Ave, Huntsville, AL 35801).
