She was predeceased by: her mother Opal R. Lemley Allen; her husband Bill F. Chenault; her father Howard Frederick Allen; her stepmother Alma Ruth Billings Allen (Jo); her parents-in-law, Alfred Wesley Chenault and Ollie Mae Williams Chenault; and her daughter Marquetta Chenault.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bronwyn Ann Chenault Brown (Charles Steven Brown) of Huntsville and Anna Lane Chenault Sexton (Jeffrey Dale Sexton) of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Brown (Leela Pahl), Brittany Sexton Leach, Jessica Sexton Helsley (Ryan), William Blake Brown (Sara Larson) and Sarah Hayley Sexton; her great grandchildren, Lyla, Adeline, Gwen, Harlow, Baker, Layne, Millie and Maeve; and her sister-in-law Betty Bunch of Decatur.
