He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elden and Amelia Elden (Sather); his wife Joan; his siblings, William Elden (Bud), Doris Thompson and Shirley Langella; his siblings-in-law, Beverly Elden, Dougal Thompson and Gaspar Langella; and his grandsons, Jonathon Baca and Richard Moss.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Elden (Cricket) of Huntsville, AL, Julie Elden of Escondido, CA and Diana Baca of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Nicholas Moss (Shelby), Charles Elden, Keith Elden, Tricia Hall (Connor) and Storm Baca; and his great grandchild Madison Moss.
