It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hardy Rice (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude Mae McCurdy and Bob Rice Sr.; his siblings, Oscar Rice, Melvin Rice, Willie Lee Mccollum-Rice, Jessie Mae Rice and Yvonne McLean; his nephew Paul Robinson-Rice; and his nieces, Carolyn Robinson and Margerite Petty.
He is survived by: his wife Louella Rice of Toney, AL; his daughters, Betty Campbell-Abrams (Reginald) of Houston, TX, Vanda Campbell of Huntsville, AL and Brenda Campbell (Dorez) of Huntsville, AL.; his grandchildren, Sheena (Ty), Marco, Aaron, Bianca, Richard, Alejandro and Tymeish; and his brothers, Bob Rice Jr. of Huntsville, AL, Roosevelt Miller (Willie P.) of Huntsville, AL and Michael Miller of Huntsville, AL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and in-laws, and friends.
