He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Mildred Ellenburg Smith; and his siblings, Mark Smith, Donnie Smith, Joan Steele and Susie Alewine.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Smith of Crossville, Johnnie (Blake McDaniel) and Connie (Craig Rigsby); and his brother Paul Smith of Boaz. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Chapel Cemetery (1294 Smith Chapel Rd, Boaz, AL 35956).
