He is survived by: his wife Dava Fleming; his children, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Isaac Fleming of Huntsville, Ala. and Michael Hammonds (Kayla) of Gadsden, Ala.; his sister Dr. Jennifer Whitcomb (Scott) of Meridian, Miss.; his father-in-law David Cole of Gadsden, Ala.; his siblings-in-law, Crystal Precise of Huntsville, Ala., Brian Cole (Shanna) of Athens, Ala. and Matthew Cole of Gadsden, Ala.; his grandchildren, Bailee, Kynnedi, Myka, Kade Hammonds of Gadsden, Ala., Isaiah, Baylor and Riley Johnson of Decatur, Ala.; his nephews, Baker Whitcomb of Starkville, Jackson Whitcomb of Meridian, Colin Cheatwood of Huntsville, Ala. and Jake Warden of Athens, Ala.; his niece Cailee Yancey of Huntsville, Ala.; and his great-niece Willow Warden.
