She is survived by: her daughter Susan Conner Atkins; her grandchildren, Derek Joseph Atkins (Olivia), Danielle Marie Atkins Bernard (Jay), Devin Lynn Atkins, Robert E. Cummings III (Madison) and Nell Catherine Cummings; her great grandchildren, Penelope James Atkins, Lucas Joseph Bernard, Cecilia Jean Bernard and Robert E. Cummings IV; her niece Whit Hill (Alan); her nephew John Leonard; her friend Mary Buttram Young; and her pet Winston. She is also survived by cousins, great-nieces.
