She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Knight Lothrop and Alice Mae Thomas Lothrop; her husband Melvin H. Riser; and her brother Milton Knight Lothrop. She is survived by: her children, Carole Riser Smith (Michael), James Douglas Riser (Debra) and Garnett Elizabeth Duenow (Michael); her grandchildren, Michele Black (Brad), Cindy Lott (Matt), Ben Riser (Abby), Brian Smith (Laura), Stephanie Clark (Justin) and Becca Riser; and her great grandchildren, Adam Black, Anna Black, James Riser and Peyton Lott. She is also survived by her three nephews.
