He was predeceased by: his father Frederick William Binner; his grandparents, Elsie, David Binner, Ella Longendyke Holt and Frederick Edlefsen; and his stepgrandfather Oscar "Tex" Holt.

He is survived by: his mother Dawn Eldefsen Binner; his children, Hunter Binner (Lauren) and Brittany Marcus (Joseph Farmer); his granddaughter Lorelai Farmer; his sisters, Elline Binner and Lynelle Lamons; his stepsisters, Cynthia Smith and Elizabeth Smith; his stepmother Martha Sue Binner; his child Diona Binner; his cousins, Father Frederick H. Edlefsen II and Kirsten Edlefsen Dickins; his nieces, Jessica Knight, Alexandra Guthrie (Damen) and Natalie Smith; and his nephew Griffith Knight.
