With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Guthery Fields (Huntsville, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Guthery and Rubie Potts Guthery; her husband Ray J. Fields; her daughters, Kathryn J. Shannon and Sherry Lynn Lewis; and her sisters, Johnnie G. Atkins, Bobbie J. Layne and Patsy Miller.
She is survived by: her son Mark A. Partain; her grandchildren, Amy Shannon Williams, Emily Shields, Chass Shannon, Wesley Long, Jonathan Long and Paula J. Shannon; and her sister Jean Jackson of Huntsville. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
