He is survived by: his wife Alavia (Olivia); his children, Jimmy, Alvin (Gail) of Weaver and Nancy of Anniston; his stepchildren, Don Brinson (Debbie) and Linda Hartley (Robert) of Meridianville; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
