He was predeceased by: his parents, John Travis and Gertrude Travis; his siblings, Loretta Griggs and John; and his grandson Jon David Brost.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Brost Travis; his children, Jodi Crubaugh (Joseph) and Mike (Kimberly); his stepsons, Brian (Caroline), David (Frankie) and Michael (Monica); and his grandchildren, William, Tyler, Alex, Daryl, Ana, Amber, Laura and Liza.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (2300 Beasley Ave NW, Huntsville, AL 35816). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Madison City Cemetery (100 Mill Rd, Madison, AL 35758). A reception will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
