He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Joseph Eidt and Allene Simpson Eidt; and his nephew Ben Butler. He is survived by: his wife Lucia; his sons, Chris (Chandra) and Luke (Faye); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Feight (Colter), Eva, Nora and Silas; his great grandchild Cohen Feight; his siblings, Allene Butler (Butch) and Steve Eidt; his niece Lindsey Eidt; and his nephews, Matt Eidt, Taylor Eidt and Justin Butler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Central Presbyterian Church (406 Randolph Ave SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
