It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Nyoka Byrd of Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Sammy Byrd; her parents, Wilson Young (Alice Young) and Baby David Young; and her siblings, Vicki Young, Roger Young and James Young.

She is survived by : her children, Jeff Byrd and Tammy Buchanan; her grandchildren, Brandon Buchanan, Joshua Buchanan and Kasey Byrd; her great grandchildren, Landon, Levi, Layton, Kaylin, Everley, Kamron, Kynleigh and Emma; and her siblings, JoAnn Boldosser and Robert Young.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
