With sadness, we share the passing of Sigrid Burke of Huntsville, Alabama. Sigrid, born on August 31, 1940, passed away on June 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Kuttruff and Lydia Kuttruff; her son John Svatek; and her siblings, Ursula Sitter and Juergen Kuttruff.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh Burke; her children, Dianna Trang (Jeff) and Yuri Burke (Petra); and her grandchildren, Katie Dunseith, Jason Svatek, Allen Trang, Amy Zuber, Aileen Fisher and Samantha Burke. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Due to her great love of animals, the family requests memorials be made to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society.
