We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2024, at the age of 88, Stanley David Johnston of Huntsville, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Farris Johnston and Martha Edith Shepard Johnston; his sister Barbara Pierce; his son Gregory David Johnston; and also, John and Ollie Rea.

He is survived by: his wife Nell Rea Johnston; his daughter Diana Hase (Tom); his stepchildren, Michael Vojticek (Anggie) and Susan Stinson (Jay) of Huntsville; and his grandchildren, Jeannie Dickens (Vince), Aaron Hase (Shannon), Christy MacKenzie (Joe), Emma Kimbrough (Bartlett), Anna Harrison (Troy), Ben Hase (Stephanie), David Vojticek (Haley), John Stinson (Chloe), Alexandra Marino (Brandon), Katherine Stinson and Abby Keel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
