He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur (Shug) and Imogene Arthur; and his son Scott Robert Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Glauda Mullins Arthur; his son John Christopher Arthur (April); his granddaughters, Marleigh Grace Arthur and Natalie McBrayer; his siblings, Jean Walls of Washington and Jimmy Arthur (Jane) of Seymour; his nephew Troy; his niece Tammy; his sister-in-law Elma Frye; his niece Brittany Connell; his brother-in-law Billy Mullins (Bobbie) of Columbus; his nephew Nathan; Andi Connell, Eliseo Garces and Louis Gonzalez of Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Parkinson's Dynamics of Huntsville, Alabama, where Steve was a member since his PD diagnosis in 2020.
