He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Griner Bennett and Jeannie Bartlett Bennett; and his brothers, Bernard Bennett and George Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Killingsworth Bennett; his children, Jimmy Bennett (Leslie) and Tish Graham (Tee); his grandchildren, James Bennett, Kaitlyn Hadley and Jaylee Graham; his sibling's children, Jeannie Bennett Russell, Kevin Bennett, Arlen Bennett and Jeff Bennett; and his friends, Mack and Gina Yates.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801).
