He was predeceased by: his wife Genece Williams King; his stepdaughter Phoebe Gautney; his parents, Lewis Hilry King Sr. and Mozelle Pope King; his siblings, Ann King and Lewis Hilry King, Jr.; his sister-in-law Mary Anne King; his in-laws, Carlos and Lories Williams; his brother-in-law Chuck Williams; and his great-nephew Tyler King.
He is survived by: his brother Charles D. King; his sister-in-law Martha B. King; his son-in-law Rocky Gautney; and his grandchildren, Asa McKenzie, Nicole Huncosky (John) and Tyson LaPlant. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and close friends.
