He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Guffin and Dr. Gilbert Guffin; his wife Marilyn; his children, Dr. Shawn Guffin (Stephanie) and Sheryl Clem (Jonas); and his brother Dr. Truett Guffin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rachel, Jake and Jack. He is also survived by his family and friends.
