William R. Eldridge Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 1, 2026, at the age of 84, William R. Eldridge of Huntsville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alexander Eldridge and Louanna Russell Eldridge; his daughter Amanda Edger Watson Bishop; his sister Kathryn Eldridge Riddle; and his niece Donna Harris Morse.
He is survived by: his caregiver Alice Eldridge of Huntsville, AL; his son Matt Edger (Mary Beth); and his sister Wylodean Eldridge Peden (Carl). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
