He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen L. B. Overton and Claudia Overton; and his siblings, Tommy Overton, Betty Lou Mulkey and Earline Pullen.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes "AJ" Jo Overton; his children, Ashley Greer (Travis) and Alan Overton; his grandchildren, Michael Harrison, Hunter Harrison (Kacy), Isabella Parker, Abbey Greer, Joshua Overton (Ashley), Adam Overton (Miranda) and Katheryn Overton; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Leon, Daphne, Henry and Lucy.
