Thurmond and Gladys Garren Thurmond; her siblings, Paul (Polly Thurmond), Claude (Janice Thurmond) and Buna; her brother-in-law Jerry Lacy; her in-laws, James A. Guffey and Lillian Clifton Guffey; her brother-in-law Billy Guffey; her nephew Mike Lacy; her children, Paula Claudette Guffey and Monte Jim Guffey; and her grandson Nathaniel Clifton Lawler.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" N. Guffey; her children, Dena Guffey Lawler (Chuck) and David Alan Guffey; her grandchildren, Brittney Guffey, Garren Lawler and Jaxon Byrd; her brother Danny; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Guffey and Cathy Guffey.
