He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Norman and Eleanor Melvina Johnston; and his sister Eleanor "Tookie" Langham. He is survived by: his children, Margaret "Dunka" Pappas (Billy) and George Nelson Johnston; his grandchildren, Katie, Will Pappas, Bella and Nelson Johnston; and his siblings, Jane Johnston (Peggy) and George Joseph Johnston (Wendy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
