He is survived by: his wife Deborah of Washington; his sons, Albert Jr. of Washington and Justin Alston (Amanda); his adoptive son Siburt Watler; his grandchildren, Ashanti of Washington, Justin Jr., Aubrey and Jayce Alston; his siblings, Thomas M. (Christine) of Washington, Charlie of Washington, Cleon of Washington, Ceola Stallworth, Clara Jemison (Bennie), Aretha of Washington and Coretta Leggett (Billy); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Alston (Nancy), Dayton Alston (Angelina), James Alston Jr., Linda Holmes and Brenda Alston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
