He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Nichols and Ernestine Nichols; his siblings, Grady Gaines Nichols, Ernest Willard Nichols and Hurbert Russell Nichols; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde "Andy" Anderson, Louise Nichols and Saundra Nichols.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gradine Simpson (Robert), Gloria Anderson, Phil Nichols and Gerald Nichols (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
