She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Malcom and Vera Gray Downey Anderson; and her husband Albert Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Al Garrett (Jo Ann), John Garrett and Meg Upton (Bob); her grandsons, Dow Walker (Bethany) and Garrett Walker (Amber); and her great grandchildren, Leyton Walker, Wells Walker, Brodie Walker and Nellie Brooke Walker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (700 Commerce St, Jackson, AL 36545).
