We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 90, Herman Reid of Jackson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, W. V. Reid and Essie Reid; his wife Rita M. Reid; his son Tim Reid; and his grandson Judson Reid.

He is survived by : his son Randy Reid; his brother Lamar Reid (Ann); his sister-in-law Pam Hoven; and his grandchildren, Misty Reid, Casey Henley, Jon Foster Reid, Andie Beasley, Becky Johnson, Brittany Reid and Braxton Reid. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lathan Funeral Home (1867 US-43, Jackson, AL 36545). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (1601 Walker Springs Rd, Jackson, AL 36545).
