She was predeceased by : her parents, Price Stanley and Grey Stanley; her husband Franklin D. Howell; her brother Eddie Stanley; and her grandson Justin Howell.

She is survived by : her children, Cindy Howell, Gary Howell (Amy), Ricky Howell (Susan) and LaShay Nelson (Mike); and her grandchildren, Brandon Howell, Kayla Wade, Andrew Howell, Diana Blackmon, Ethan Howell, Travis Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Gailyn Miller, Garrett Sinclair, Mary Ayden Nelson, Brock Nelson and Parker Kate Nelson. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Jackson Text (146 College Ave, Jackson, AL 36545). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
