He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Sr. Byrd and Eva Byrd; and his wife Martha K. Byrd. He is survived by: his children, Jerry James (Jennifer), Renee Bishop (Neal), James Thomas "Tommy" Byrd, Jr. and Deborah Eubanks (Jay); his grandchildren, Derek James (Suzette), Phillip James (Erica), Whitney Bishop, John Bishop, Lloyd Bishop, Olivia Eubanks and Kate Eubanks; and his sister Carolyn Williams (Carey). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
