It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Bell Pugh of Jackson, Alabama, born in Grove Hill, Alabama, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidnay Coates-Pugh and Arilla Coates-Pugh; her son Nimoy Pugh; her niece Toni; and her love Carlos Blackwell.
She is survived by: her son Glenn Blackwell of Lumberton, NC; her siblings, Grace Jackson of Birmingham, AL and Clauzell Pugh of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Ariel, Tianna and Delroy of Decatur, AL; her nieces, Bernadette and Jane Caroline; and her friend Annie Parker of Jackson, AL.
She belonged to the Nascar Members Fan Club, (SCA) Scanners Association of North America, and a contributor to the St Jude Foundation.
