She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles C. Smith (Sonny) and Ouida Hudson Smith. She is survived by : her children, Ashley Garrick Adkinson (Keith) of Dothan, Heather Garrick Andrews (Blane) of Chattanooga and Brandon Garrick (Brittany); her grandsons, Mac Adkinson, George Adkinson and Reece Garrick; and her sister Cindy Smith Avery (Houston) of Auburn.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (1601 Walker Springs Rd, Jackson, AL 36545).
