He was predeceased by: his parents, N. L. Reeves and Emma Jean Reeves; and his sister Tammy Brown. He is survived by: his children, Cal Reeves (Courtney), Tiffani Jones (Jerome) and Blake Reeves (Tessa); his grandchildren, Lily, Mary Alice, Hannah, Sarah Kate, Emma, Craigan, Tanner and Nia; and his siblings, Freddie Ray Reeves (Beverly) and Diane Lawlis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the Jackson Police Department or the Jackson Volunteer Fire Department.
