She was predeceased by: her parents, Sibley Perry and Dovie Ree "Tiny" Perry; and her siblings, Sibley Winford Perry, James Weldon Perry and Ida Emogen Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd "Cricket" Rester (Monika), Tommy Ray Rester and Tonya Rester Deese; her grandchildren, Kristin Chapman (David), Kristoffer Merkel (LeeAnn), Brionna Garland (Hunter), Maeghan Powell, Shelby Deese (Jenna), Sabrina Rester, Lacey Suslovich, Stephan Bradley, Erica Rester, Mileigh Rester, Grace Deese, Landyn Rester and Lukas Rester; her siblings, Rachel Perry Wilson and Joe Henry Perry; and her friends, Crystal Miller and Jessica Parnell. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lathan Funeral Home (1867 US-43, Jackson, AL 36545). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the DuBose Family Cemetery.
