She is survived by: her children, John, Lela Bell Sanders and Jesus; her husband Lorenzo Sanders; her daughters, Pamela Porter (Maurice) of Jackson, AL, Sherrita James (Edward) of Jackson, AL, Earlicia West of Jackson, AL, Felicia McKee (Lorenzo) of Mobile, AL, Johonna Tenor (Sam) of Summerville, SC and Gwendolyn Dumas (Thomas) of Birmingham, AL.; her grandchildren, Jasmine, Joshua Porter, Antuan, Lakendrick James (Takedra), Ladravian, Laquan Law, Marquis Flowers, Lorenzo, Lauren McKee, Aliyah and Brooke Dumas; her great grandchildren, Taylor Porter, Skylein, Adalynn and Austin James; her stepchildren, Carolyn Clarke (Darryl) of Rex, GA, Willie Chapman of Memphis, TN, Lyletha Gamble of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Tramarcus Young of Pensacola, FL; her siblings, Olivia Rudolph of Greenville, AL, Alice Adams of Sardis, AL, Tommie Moorer (Brenda) of Chattanooga, TN and O. C. Hunter of Sardis, AL.; her siblings-in-law, Annie Colston of Millbrook, AL, Annie Ray of Mobile, AL., Vernon Sanders (Shirley) of Selma, AL and Willie Mason Sr. of Sardis, AL; her aunts, Mattie Watters of Minter, AL and Ornella Oliver of Tampa, FL; her goddaughter Amanda McKenzie-Robinson of Daphne, AL; and her close friends, Deloris Johnson, Louise Vaughn, Delernia J. Roberts and Rose Mary Parker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, surrogate grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Following the interment ceremony at Woodlawn Cemetery, Center Street, Jackson, AL, the family will receive friends at H. W. Pearce Community House, Vanity Park Drive, Jackson, AL. Facial covering and social distancing are suggested.
Her charity was sincere, bountiful, gracious and endless.
